As recorded by her gallant Captain and crew.
Up the minute news and information on the Racing Yacht Coyote and her continuing journeys!
First I took a backwards tumble off the foredeck during a douse, (saved by super-tether and cousin Ryan and stayed 6 feet from the water!). Later, we blew up our small spinnaker, the ‘shy kite’. We got Ryan wet (again) trying to fish the bits and pieces of that out of our rudder. Finally, Uncle Steve figured out how to reef a larger Spinnaker…a first, I believe, for all of us. It’s working great, and we’re once more, rolling on… Thought we were above the “squall” line, but so far today we have had 3, with rain and ~30 knots of breeze. Bacon, eggs and peach cobbler for breakfast - BBQ chicken for lunch (yum). -Stuart
